Andy and his team can carry out any type of building work from small home improvements, to a total villa reform and restoration. Past projects include new kitchen design, refurbishments, home extensions, swimming pools and converting commercial premises. This month we look at one of their most recent projects, a dated townhouse in La Quinta. This townhouse renovation needed to provide luxurious accommodation for guests. The owner wanted a very different layout for herself and her business. ProMas created plans and went through all the steps for planning application and building licences. The top floor was two bedrooms and one bathroom; she wanted this changed into a large master bedroom using the whole of the top floor complete with a fire place, seating area and a beautiful balcony to sunbathe and enjoy the views. In addition, a large walk in wardrobe area was created and a small space with a fridge and a coffee machine. The bathroom is spacious and well-lit with a walk-in shower and a free-standing bath.
The middle was transformed with a large bedroom, ensuite and private balcony as well as two smaller bedrooms and a bathroom to share.
The ground floor boasts a very modern, open-plan kitchen, living room and terrace all on the same level.
All new windows were fitted with `intelligent´ glass which reduces heat coming in from the sun but also keeps the warmth in during the winter months. The brief also included underfloor heating, heated mirrors, a beautiful and practical laundry room, bijou kitchenettes, walk-in wardrobes and the redesigning of the layout to enable a previously separate garage to have direct access to the internal space with space for two cars. The expert design team at ProMas fulfilled this bespoke brief through to the beautiful interior furnishings and what´s more it came in… on time.
