A True Turkish Delight

From the moment we arrived, this restaurant transported us straight to the Mediterranean coast of Turkey. The venue itself is stunning, colourful, bright and beautifully designed, with a light and airy terrace that creates the perfect setting for a long, relaxed lunch or dinner. Every detail feels warm and inviting, from the vibrant décor to the comfortable atmosphere. Combined with genuinely attentive and friendly staff, the whole experience felt effortless and welcoming.

The menu celebrates Turkish and Eastern Mediterranean flavours with a modern touch, and every dish arrived beautifully presented and full of character.

We started with the Mücver, delicate vegetable fritters served with cool tzatziki and salty feta cheese. Crisp on the outside and soft within, they were comforting yet fresh, a wonderful introduction to the meal. The Sigara Börek followed, perfectly crisp pastry filled with melting cheese, paired with honey and yogurt dressing. The balance of savoury and sweet was absolutely delicious and showcased the rich traditions of Turkish cuisine.

One of the highlights among the starters was the beetroot Bazlama salad. The earthy sweetness of the beetroot worked beautifully with the creamy yogurt, toasted walnuts and refreshing hints of orange and mint. It was vibrant, refreshing and full of texture.

For the main course, the grilled sea bass fillet was cooked beautifully, delicate and flaky with a subtle smokiness from the grill. Served alongside seasonal vegetables and sautéed potatoes, it felt light, elegant and perfectly balanced.

The grilled lamb chops were equally impressive, tender, flavourful and expertly seasoned, accompanied by roasted aubergine and carrots that added sweetness and depth to the dish. Even the Black Angus burger stood out, juicy and satisfying with rich melted cheese and excellent quality beef.

Desserts continued the journey through Turkish-inspired flavours. The Dubai chocolate ice cream with pistachio was rich, silky and indulgent, while the apple baklava with creamy labneh offered a clever twist on a traditional favourite. The layers of crisp pastry combined beautifully with the soft apple filling and tangy cream. The sweet Turkish halva was wonderfully authentic and comforting.

To finish, we shared the assorted cheese board, a lovely selection that rounded off the experience perfectly.

What truly makes this restaurant special is how successfully it combines authentic flavours with a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere. The colourful terrace, attentive service and thoughtfully prepared food create a dining experience that feels both sophisticated and wonderfully welcoming. A beautiful celebration of Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine, and somewhere we would happily return to again and again.
